Tea Party Protests Proceed Without Alinsky Infiltrators

For decades since the advent of the 16th Amendment, April 15th has been a day dreaded by America's productive class.  A day that comes once each year reminding workers of the toil they bequeath to the members of the government class.  For the past two years, that date has been claimed as a date of martyrdom by America's taxpayers, now just 50 percent of America's population.  The American Tea Party now owns April 15th, and has seized it from the government as a day that used to be marked as a day of "responsibility" and "obligation."

An estimated crowd of 25,000 turned out at the foot of the Washington Monument to protest out-of-control deficit spending, out-of-control Congress, and a government regime that seems to many Americans to have gone rogue on the American People.

Much anxiety preceded this protest from internet web sites that actively recruited progressives to show up at the protest posing as supporters of the Tea Party movement with the intent to discredit it with placards spewing bigotry, hate, ignorance, and calls for violence.  these infiltrators, called by a group called crashtheTeaParty.org failed to show up.

However, at the Washington rally, three Obama supporters did show their face, as they were straight-up about their affiliation.  But none would divulge their names.

Aside from that, the protest was populated by--more or less boring American people.  Most attendees were middle class workers, not lobbying for lower taxes for themselves, but people who are genuinely concerned for the current direction of our country under the Obama Administration and the Democrat Party-led Congress. The rally commenced at 5 p.m. and ended well after sunset, at 9:30.  A sliver of the crescent moon and the planet Venus hung in the western sky as the light faded on the crowd, most of whom stood on their feet the entire time.

Among the event's most popular speakers were Rep. Michelle Bachman (R-MN) Ron Paul (R-TX) Former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, Internet journalist Andrew Breitbart, and Lord Moncton from the United Kingdom.

As a centerpiece of the movement, the group unveiled it's Contract From America, which calls for restoration of the values ste forth in the Constitution, repeal of the Health Care Reform bill, an "all of the above" energy policy, tax reform, and limits on government spending.
