Rep. Louise Slaughter, (D-NY), the House Committee Rules Chair, flatly rejected over 200 proposed Republican Party amendments to the ObamaCare government health care take over, preventing each amendment from going to the House floor for an up or down vote.
Of those 200, 11 such amendments would have required members of Congress and other government officials to abide by the same requirements as middle class Americans. These include the individual mandate, and would have required members to relinquish their own generous plan known as the Federal Employees Health Benefit Program.
