Thirty one members of the Texas State House Assembly signed a petition to Secretary of the Army, John McHugh, regarding the court marshal of Major Nidal Malik Hasan.  FULL STORY

In their letter, Texas State representatives asked that the Army adds a 14th count of murder against Hasan for the fetus carried by Private Francheska Valez, believed to be pregnant at the time Hasan gunned down Valez and 12 other US soldiers at Fort Hood on November 5th of last year.

The letter cites Article 119(a) of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which authorizes punishment for bodily harm or murder to "a child who is in utero."  The letter states, "such an action would underscore the fundamental point that unborn children must be afforded legal protections against offenses that can be committed against individuals, such as homicide."

A preliminary investigation revealed that Major Hasan was an Islamic Jihadist mole in the US Army, and his massacre was an act of terrorism against the United States, specifically targeted against uniformed Army personnel.  His murderous act was blessed by Imam Anwar al-Awlaki, a former al Qaeda regional commander.
